UEG informa: Call for nominations for the UEG Lifetime Achievement Award 2019

Dear Presidents & Secretary Generals of UEG’s National Member Societies,

This is to inform you about this year's call for nominations for the UEG Lifetime Achievement Award.

This Award is given for contributions in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology as well as for dedication and commitment to the entire United European Gastroenterology community.

We encourage UEG Member Societies to nominate suitable candidates for this prestigious Prize which will be presented at the UEG Week Opening Session on Monday, October 21, 2019 in Barcelona.

Deadline for nominations: May 24, 2019

Formal requirements for the nomination documents will be strictly observed. Thank you for your understanding that we will only accept nominations that adhere to UEG’s specifications:

Short Curriculum Vitae of the candidate (max. 2 A4 pages)
Brief statement of no more than 50 words summarizing the candidate’s contribution to gastroenterology as a whole and the UEG community in particular
A concise description (max. 1 A4 page) of how these contributions, whether they have been in research, leadership, or mentorship, have had a lasting impact on the gastrointestinal field and/or the community and/or UEG and demonstrate a lifetime commitment (publications supporting these contributions may be directly referenced)

It will be an honour to receive your nomination and UEG looks forward to presenting this Award at our annual meeting to the UEG community!
